Homestay in Raja Ampat

Just done with a series of visuals for Changi Airport's feature on Raja Ampat Indonesia. The thing about being a photographer is that no one really takes your picture. Pretty used to this part of my job, which is kinda weird sometimes because I'm supposed to be an "influencer". What does that word mean to me anymore? I wonder.

Choosing to live in a homestay in Raja Ampat Indonesia was one of the best decisions we ever made. Imagine waking up in the morning to the sounds of nature. Legit stuff. Waves tumbling and colliding against each other in orchestrated harmony. Cool sea breeze caressing your skin as you leave your mosquito-net protected bed.

And the people. They were amazing hosts to us ditzy foreigners who knew nothing but the word "makan" (which basically means FOOD). They taught us how to play a handmade ukulele made out of a freaking tree (legit hipsters there) and we taught them some conversational English. It was splendid.

I wish I could say more, but you should really be looking out for the travel video that we did on this trip. Till then.
